  1. Nice, sunny and around 60 today, now that's what I am talking about!

  2. I'll grab a photo of the sign on my way back through and you can use it on your Facebook page if you want.
  3. Still in the process of trying to get the sites moved over to the new server ...

  4. I agree 100%, I like the gate being there, but now I wonder if they will just accidentally cross on the new camo dude road haha. I haven't visited the Stuart Wells road entrance yet, I was just on my way through and had to check out the back gate and GLR. Seems like it would be real easy to just sit down at the GLR gate and see all the workers on the bus, makes it much easier for anyone interested. Camo dudes seemed very bored and not aggressive at all today. I am thinking the Storm Area 51 event has made the entire area pretty boring for people now that everyone has been there and done that. Usually we see at least a few tourists out there.
  5. I am betting @The Area 51 Rider might be a little interested in this topic, but not sure. 🤣
  6. I couldn't agree more, I wish I had never wasted any time or money going to University, it was a complete waste of time and money. I wish there was a hands on approach to training such as a good apprenticeship over all the wasted college time and money. Of course for some professions, you have to get that focused education (doctors, lawyers, etc), but for 99% of the stuff out there, a good apprenticeship would be more than enough, and probably much better than college where you spend the majority of your time taking classes that do nothing to teach you about what you are there for.
  7. I struggle with that very issue, I go off road almost daily, so after washing my car, it's clean for around 8 hours. Makes it hard to justify cleaning the exterior at all, but I still do it for some reason.
  8. So I stopped by Area 51 today and notices they have removed the road closed to the Groom Lake Road, road still has a gate, and the Extraterrestrial sign is back, but it's super high in the air! Not sure if anyone here is interested in Area 51, but I had to swing by and see what has changed. There is also a new road up to the groom lake road Camo Dude perch. I didn't see anyone else out there, not even the guy who thinks he owns Area 51.

  11. Yeah, but it seems the reviews are mixed on the supercharger.
  12. Toyota Sequoia doesn't have crawl control, rear lockers, and is too big for off road. They should offer an option to put the sequoia v8 into the 4runner.
  13. I think most soaps today are environmentally friendly. I use a soap cannon and some environmentally friendly soap to hand scrub, but my damn driveway is on a hill, so it's a pita to stand on a ladder to wash the roof. I also have a power washer to get off all the dirt before washing. I am not sure if that all suddenly changes now I have already ruined the paint. I am with you on keeping the interior clean. Especially with the rubber floor mats, pull them and hit them with the power washer. Only takes a few minutes.
  14. I don't foresee much waxing on my vehicles now that both are pretty scratched up. I was planning on trying to keep the cars nice but that's not going to be possible if they are exploring rigs.
  15. I have heard touchless car washers are bad for your paint, but I have used them for years on my old vehicles and never had paint issues.
