Hey everyone... finished a Exploration at an abandoned raceway, I loved how everything was still pretty much intact like if they were racing in the old days (1970s), including the bleachers, pretty awesome place. 5. First time doing a video of my adventures, critiques are always welcome. Hopefully many more adventures to come.
  6. Here is my latest video of a ghost town we discovered yesterday. It looks to be maintained by someone, perhaps the claim holder. The property is on National Forest Land, which means the structures are probably illegally built, but I am not saying a word to the National Forest Service. I would hate to see the buildings torn down or destroyed. This place is in such good shape that it would appear someone must reside there at least part of the year. I don't have any photos because I left my camera in the car as I thought it was only around the corner, but the hike was a little longer than I had anticipated. The 95 degree weather didn't help any. One thing I noticed were the amount of flies, they were everywhere.

  9. Some old film scans of various rotting places in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Maybe some of you will appreciate to see these.
  10. Hey guys! I haven't got to the final Abandoned House video yet, but I have made a new video of me and my 2 friends exploring an abandoned sports bar/ Driving Range at night, and we found golf balls. I'd love for you guys to watch it, and the video is completely full screen the thumbnail just messed up. If you want to subscribe too it'd mean a lot! Thankyou
  11. I would like to know the best abandoned towns in state of Oklahoma, with several houses, school, other buildings etc. It has been a dream of mine to explore an abandoned place and find treasures and things that have been abandoned along with the building, not that I am expecting to find these treasures like magic and if I can even enter the building! I don't know how easy it is to enter an abandoned house, or other building without it being boarded up or risk roof falling/caving in, etc. Thanks!
  12. Check out this abandoned RV we found in the middle of nowhere. I can't help but wonder where the owner is! Video will be up tomorrow or Wednesday!

  14. Here are a couple of South Dakota spots from our recent trip. Okaton, South Dakota is a unique hybrid of near-ghost town and abandoned tourist attraction. More here: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-bH Klondike Bridge, spanning the river between South Dakota and Iowa. More here: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-ar An abandoned convent in Zell, South Dakota. more here: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-dt BTW, if anybody wants to exchange info and friend each other on Facebook, just shoot me a private message with your info. Always looking to keep in touch with more ghost town peeps.
  15. Here are a few from our recent South Dakota/Nebraska shoot. That's my buddy Terry going up to get a better angle on the lift at the abandoned Devils Nest ski resort in Knox County Nebraska. - more: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-b0 This is the church in Monowi, Nebraska. Monowi is the smallest incorporated city in America with only one resident. The church was last used 50 years ago when the last remaining resident's father died, and his funeral was held there. more: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-cz What remains of Pineview Drive-In outside Long Pine, Nebraska. more: http://wp.me/p4k9RQ-cW Couple other places we put up on the site too if you care to take a look. It was a looooong trip. We drove from Fargo to Yankton, through central Nebraska and South Dakota, then back to Fargo in about 48 hours. 1100 miles.
  16. Just a head's up, I changed my display name from the North Dakota specific name I had, to this, in case anybody is looking for me. This is more logical now that we've started a site for abandoned places continent-wide. New post today, BTW... Picher, Oklahoma http://www.ghostsofnorthamerica.com/toxic-town-picher-oklahoma/
  17. Mondak (MONtana -- DAKota) was a bootlegging town on the Montana/North Dakota border designed to supply thirsty North Dakotans with booze during prohibition. We visited last weekend and found the jail still standing, among other things. I always love exploring these places that have a rich history and captivating back story. http://www.ghostsofnorthamerica.com/ghost-town-mondak-montana/ Troy GhostsofNorthAmerica.com GhostsofNorthDakota.com
  18. It is this kind of crap that causes the further loss of ghost towns. I would love to find this chucklehead and give him a swift kick in the butt. Even worse is that he is teaching his child to disrespect property.
