Ludwig Mill and Mines

Recommended Posts

It did have some fencing around the open pit mine and the active mining claim nearby.I just stayed out of the active "Hard Hat Required" areas and anywhere that had "No Trespassing".  I could see places where people had used the huge timbers for firewood. How stupid can you be?

The Morningstar Saloon was owned by Sam Frankovich who ran the Wine House in Reno. I remember the Wine House as a kid - well maybe a bit more than a kid. Frankovich was active in Reno for a long time. This was found there in mid 1970s
